Your detailed itinerary

Depart Nairobi early in a 5-6 hour scenic drive north toward Samburu, passing semi-arid plains and Maasai villages along the way. Arrive at your midrange lodge and check-in, enjoying lunch with views of the Ewaso Nyiro River. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, spotting elephants, lions, reticulated giraffes, and Grevy's zebras. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
